How to Reset Canon Pixma MG3200 Series error Ink Absorber Almost Full
STEP 1 - Enter Service Mode
Instructions for entering service mode:
6).To reset the error "Ink absorber almost full" using Canon Service Tool v.3400 (free, virus-free, compatible with Windows, Linux, and Macintosh operating systems):

- Turn off the printer
- Press and hold the STOP/RESET button
- Simultaneously, press and hold the ON button (DO NOT release both buttons)
- Release the STOP/RESET button when the Plain Paper LED lights up in green while holding the ON button
- While still holding the ON button, press the STOP/RESET button 5 times (*1) and then release the ON button.
Note:STEP 2 - Reset Printer
Each time the STOP/RESET button is pressed, the Alarm and Plain Paper LEDs will alternate between orange and green respectively. When the Plain Paper LED is green, the printer is ready to enter service mode.
If the Plain Paper LED does not light up in green, the printer has failed to enter service mode. Please, turn off the printer and repeat the service mode instructions.
6).To reset the error "Ink absorber almost full" using Canon Service Tool v.3400 (free, virus-free, compatible with Windows, Linux, and Macintosh operating systems):
- Download Service Tool v.3400
- Extract the file and open the Service Tool. If it won't open, disconnect the USB cable, then open the Service Tool, and finally reconnect the USB cable.
- Load A4 or Letter size paper
- For reference during servicing, print the EEPROM information before resetting (1)
- To clear the ink counter, select "ALL" (2) and then click "SET" (3). The ink absorber counter will display the reset value automatically. "Clear Ink Counter - select ALL" resets all four ink absorber counters (Main_Black, Main_Color, Platen_Away, Platen_Home).
- Specify the destination region: ASA, AUS, BRA, CHN, CND, EMB, EUR, JPN, KOR, LTN, TWN, USA (4) and then click "SET" (5)
- Print the EEPROM information once again after resetting (1)
- Compare the EEPROM information before and after resetting
- If everything went well, close the Service Tool
- Turn off the printer (wait for 10 seconds)
- Turn on the printer and it should now be ready for use.
