Step 1: Enter Service Mode

1. Turn off the printer
2. Press and hold the STOP/RESET button and the ON button simultaneously
3. Release the STOP/RESET button but keep holding the ON button
4. Press the STOP/RESET button 2 times while holding the ON button, then release both buttons
5. If the power LED lights up green and the 7-segment LED displays "0," the printer is in service mode

Step 2: Reset the error

1. Download Service Tool v.1050
2. Extract the file and open Service Tool, and plug in the USB cable if needed
3. Load A4 or Letter paper
4. Select the USB Port
5. Print the EEPROM information before resetting (for reference)
6. Click MAIN to clear the Ink Counter and wait for the printer to finish printing
7. Select the destination region (ASA, AUS, BRA, CHN, CND, EUR, JPN, KOR, LTN, TWN, USA) and click SET
8. Print the EEPROM information once again after resetting
9. Compare the D value (Waste ink amount) before and after resetting
10. If successful, close Service Tool
11. Turn off the printer and wait 10 seconds
12. Turn on the printer and it should now be ready for use
